My artwork from past names that felt hollow off of the tongue - injoy the past creations of the many different versions of me
As you will see, my art has different names. From my bearth name, to a transitioning name, until I eventually aligned with my permanent name "Nubian Indigo BlackRise."
I am soul grateful that I have finally found a name that sends vibrations down to my heart chakra when I say it. I've never experienced that sensation with any other name I have carried (not even my bearth name).
See when you are an artist & you own that shit unapologetically, you can go through as many names as you want until you find that name that vibrates down to your heart chakra.
It's deeper than just a name, it's about taking authority back over your own identity.
Also the fun thing about being a high priestess, alchemist, or just a wombman in her power- you can make up names & make up your own meaning.

HEALING THROUGH MY ART
I always wondered why my art always led me to a naked wombman in nature. At first, I questioned it. But now I innerstand.
My art has been reminding me of who I am.
With every creation, my inner wild wombman has been calling me home—back to freedom, back to my body, back to my own authority. My body is nobody's property to own.
My art reflects the parts of me that long to be seen & remembered. Sometimes our creations remember who we are before we do.
Now I innerstand.
My art has been leading me back to the wombman I was always meant to be—the wombman who runs with the wolves.

SIDENOTE: I create digital collage art using Procreate, blending my own hand-drawn illustrations with carefully selected imagery to tell a story through each piece. Some of my artwork is entirely hand-drawn, while others weave together multiple creative elements into one visual narrative.
